Chief Executive Officer

Martin Denz is CEO of PQC Ready, a cybersecurity consultancy helping organisations of all sizes navigate the transition to post-quantum cryptography before quantum-capable threats become operational.

Martin began his career at Intel Corporation, where he spearheaded the operational growth of their largest European R&D site – overseeing complex expansions, high-stakes construction programmes, and M&A integrations. He went on to direct Intel’s global Risk and Controls function across multiple divisions, building enterprise-wide frameworks for business continuity and asset protection.

In 2020, he founded SDTC Solutions, a boutique consultancy focused on strategic transformation and risk-controlled delivery for global clients. Drawing on a background in Computer Science, post-graduate studies in digital transformation at Imperial College Business School, and certification as an Ethics and Compliance Professional, Martin has helped organisations across regulated industries generate material business value by implementing robust governance and navigating complex regulatory landscapes.

At PQC Ready, he channels that experience into one of the most consequential emerging risks facing organisations today: the arrival of cryptographically relevant quantum computers. His work spans SMEs through to enterprise clients, helping leadership teams make timely, commercially grounded decisions to protect their data, operations, and long-term resilience.

Outside his commercial roles, Martin serves as an elected Unitary Councillor and sits as a Magistrate.

Mikhail Oreshkin

Director Sales and Business Development

Mikhail Oreshkin is leading the Sales and Business Development at PQC Ready: he helps organisations in financial services, defence, energy, and healthcare turn complex technology shifts into commercially grounded, risk-managed delivery plans.

A graduate of Royal Holloway, University of London, Mikhail holds a Master’s degree in International Security, and brings a genuinely cross-border perspective to building partnerships across the UK, Europe, Central Asia, and the Gulf region.

Mikhail began his career at the intersection of government procurement and international health diplomacy – working with sovereign institutions to accelerate access to critical medical countermeasures during the Covid-19 pandemic. That experience gave him a sharp understanding of how national governments and large organisations prioritise, decide, and act under pressure.

Today, he works as a trusted adviser to leadership teams navigating emerging cyber and resilience risks – including post-quantum cryptography readiness. His approach is consultative and relationship-first: he takes the time to understand an organisation’s strategic priorities before recommending a path forward, helping clients protect trust, continuity, and long-lived data as quantum capabilities evolve.

Alexey Odinokov

Chief Technology Officer

Alexey Odinokov leads the technical strategy for helping organisations assess and address their exposure to post-quantum cryptography risk.

Alexey built his foundational expertise at Intel Corporation, where he played a central role in establishing Intel’s largest R&D site in Europe. His work spanned platform performance optimisation, wireless data transmission, and advanced processor architectures – giving him a rare combination of deep engineering rigour and large-scale programme delivery experience.

Alexey completed an MSc in Management Sciences at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and after leaving Intel he co-founded an ASIC services business, connecting start-ups and growing development teams with global semiconductor intellectual property and fabrication capabilities. Subsequent studies in Quantum Computing at MIT sharpened his focus on the intersection of quantum theory and real-world cryptographic risk.

At PQC Ready, Alexey translates that depth into practical technical leadership. He sets the analytical and methodological foundations for how the firm evaluates cryptographic exposure, guides clients through the complexity of post-quantum migration, and ensures PQC Ready’s assessments remain rigorous as the quantum threat landscape continues to evolve.

Anastasiia Vasylenko

PR, Policy, and Advocacy Executive

Anastasiia Vasylenko is leading the firm’s marketing and media programmes, brand development, and cyber policy advocacy.

Anastasiia began her career in Ukraine, where she developed a strong grounding in public affairs and strategic communications – working across political, corporate, and cultural sectors to translate complex policy into clear, compelling messaging and build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.

One of her most distinctive roles brought her to the international stage: overseeing PR and communications for the Ukrainian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale, where she secured international media coverage, deepened audience engagement, and coordinated high-profile stakeholder events that raised Ukraine’s cultural profile at a critical moment.

At PQC Ready, Anastasiia is shaping the firm’s public voice, driving its media and marketing programmes, and working to ensure that the case for post-quantum cryptography readiness reaches the audiences who need to hear it most. Anastasiia holds a master’s degree in International Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and is currently reading for a Master’s in Public Administration at the London School of Economics – deepening her expertise at the intersection of policy, governance, and technology.

Roeland Van Gestel

Chief Operating Officer

Roeland Van Gestel oversees PQC Ready operational foundations while working directly with clients on complex transformation and risk management engagements. He joined as a founding member in 2025, bringing three decades of international experience in general management, operations, and large-scale transformation programmes across consultancy and manufacturing. He pairs that operational depth with the PQC Ready aim to deliver digital transformation and cyber risk capabilities, strengthening what the team can deliver for clients facing complex, high-stakes technology transitions.

Roeland’s career has taken him across Europe and beyond, with senior roles – including Managing Director, CFO, and Director of Transformation – spanning the automotive, optical cable, agri-food, and oil sectors. Born in the Netherlands and with deep roots across continental Europe, he brings a natural fluency in cross-border operating environments that few generalists can match. He has successfully established four Tier 1 automotive plants from the ground up, managing everything from business planning and construction through to staffing and production ramp-up, and has led large-scale efficiency programmes delivering material cost reductions for major industrial clients including Renault-Lada.

His international credentials extend to coordinating projects funded by the World Bank and the EBRD – experience that sharpened his ability to operate at the interface of institutional rigour, commercial delivery, and cultural complexity.

Outside work, he volunteers supporting Ukrainian refugees in the Netherlands. He is fluent in English, German, Dutch, and Russian.
